How it feels
Depression has been described as feeling like you are trying to walk through waist high mud or sinking in quicksand. Many people who struggle with depression feel sad but more than this they feel like they have no energy or desire to do much of anything.
How I help
Being depressed is not a weakness. Each person who experiences depression experiences it in a way that is unique to them. Together we will explore your unique experience of depression and discover what changes you can make to struggle beyond it. We will explore some of your core beliefs about yourself and the world and learn ways of interacting with those beliefs in productive ways.
